Panexin basic is a cost-effective and versatile serum substitute suitable for the cultivation of both adherent and suspension cells, including HEK 293, MDCK, MCF-7, U-937, and MDBK. Its defined formulation contains purified proteins (<1 % w/v), lipids, salts, amino acids, trace elements, hormones, and only traces of animal-derived components (<1 % w/v).

From the Panexin line – the world’s first serum replacement (1992), now also in GMP. Panexin basic is available for research use (P04-96900) and in GMP quality (CT-96900), a cost-effective route to reduced serum dependence.
